Buying or selling

Buying: all new items are offered with a 12 month warranty, with a policy of exchange or credit note in the unlikely event of unsuitability. Methods of payment accepted are Debit and Credit cards, personal cheques and cash.

Selling: we will look at any item you might wish to sell, either with an offer to purchase or honest advice on other ways to maximise its sale value such as selling on a commission basis through the shop, or entering it into a specialist auction. Part exchanges are also welcome.

Valuation services

T J Thornton provides the only professional on-site insurance valuation service in the immediate area at competitive rates with a quick turn-round. A minimum fee of £25 or 1% of the overall value applies. A same day return service is available for a limited number of items, and for higher value individual items you may wish to opt for a valuation at home. Price upon request.

Valuations for Probate, Family Division and Sale are also undertaken.
